15 Best Restaurants in Wilton Manors and Nearby
Local favorites and useful options for eating in Wilton Manors, from sushi and pizza to Sunday brunch, with a few nearby stops beyond Wilton Drive.

On this page
For sushi in Wilton Manors, I would start at Sozo. For pizza, Béatus and I keep ordering from Dolce Salato. Those are two of the 15 restaurants in this guide, with specific orders and practical details to help you choose a meal.
Most of the options are on or near Wilton Drive. A few take you farther from the strip, including Maggie’s Favorite in nearby Oakland Park. There are places for breakfast as well as dinner, and a casual Sunday at Rosie’s has a different appeal from a rich meal at Le Patio.

- Tacos and Mexican food
- Best for
- Tacos, drinks, and a later dinner
The lobster tacos and birria tacos are my favorites at Tulio’s. I like going for the drinks and atmosphere, too.
Look at the weekly specials when choosing a night. The birria order is listed as Short Rib Birria Tacos, and the full menu runs from 5 p.m. to midnight daily. That makes Tulio’s a useful option for a later dinner on Wilton Drive.

- Sushi
- Best for
- A meal focused on sushi
Sozo is by far my favorite sushi restaurant in Wilton Manors. The appeal is straightforward: excellent, simple sushi.
It is a very small place, with a sushi bar and only a few tables. Keep that size in mind before bringing a group. Sozo does not accept reservations, so booking ahead is not an option.

- Cuisine
- Greek
- Best for
- Greek food on Wilton Drive
My usual orders at ethos are the bronzini and beef tenderloin kebab. I like its fairly traditional Greek food, and the atmosphere and location make it one of my favorites on Wilton Drive.
The bronzini is Mediterranean sea bass. Make sure you are looking at the Wilton Manors branch when checking the menu or arranging your visit, since ethos has other locations.

- Cuisine
- Peruvian
- Best for
- Peruvian food and grilled octopus
Bravo is by far my favorite Peruvian restaurant. Grilled octopus is one of my favorite orders, listed on its menu as Pulpo a la Parrilla. The menu also has arroz con mariscos, which I believe is the seafood rice dish I remember enjoying here.
It is on Northeast Sixth Avenue near Oakland Park Boulevard, away from the main Wilton Drive strip. That location matters if you are looking for dinner while walking around the Drive.

- Cuisine
- Burgers and American bar food
- Best for
- A casual Sunday with burgers and drinks
Sunday is when I would go to Rosie’s. The atmosphere is the draw, with good burgers and drinks to make a meal of it.
The food is fairly simple, and the setting is extremely casual. Sunday Funday brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

- Cuisine
- Vietnamese
- Best for
- Pho on Wilton Drive
What The Pho is a good local choice for pho. I would not call it my favorite Vietnamese restaurant across Fort Lauderdale, but I do like having it on Wilton Drive.
Bún bò Huế is generally one of my favorite soups, but I do not recommend this restaurant’s version. The spice falls short for me. Here, I would stick with the pho.

- Cuisine
- European comfort food
- Best for
- A rich dinner, once the schedule is confirmed
Le Patio is where I go when I want a rich meal. My usual orders have included escargot and baked brie, along with shrimp-and-crab ravioli or lobster ravioli. The menu’s All Lobster Ravioli comes with champagne cream sauce. This is a place to give in to that sort of dinner.
I went back after the change in ownership and thought it was just as good. Tim Brown and his husband, Gerry Selva, took over Le Patio in 2025, with founders Jean Doherty and Vero helping with the transition and passing along their recipes.
Check the schedule before booking: the online menu carries a September 7 to October 6 closure notice without a year. Confirm directly before making plans.

- Cuisine
- Spanish tapas
- Best for
- A casual meal with visiting family
Candela is a place I like taking family when they visit. It is small and casual, with traditional tapas and a good wine list.
The seafood stew and churrasco are two of my favorites, listed as Zarzuela Marinera and Churrasco Steak. Grilled octopus has also been a favorite on past visits. Ask about availability, since it does not appear on the online menu.
Find Candela on Northeast Sixth Avenue near Oakland Park Boulevard, away from the main Wilton Drive strip.

- Cuisine
- Modern American with international influences
- Best for
- Seasonal food and wine
I also like Union Kitchen & Bar. Its seasonal menu pairs modern American food with international influences, and wine is part of the restaurant’s focus.
The dinner menu includes homemade pasta, such as porcini campanelle, alongside dishes like chicken agrodolce. Check the current menu when deciding what to order, since it changes with the seasons.
Union is on North Dixie Highway, so it is another option beyond Wilton Drive.

- Cuisine
- Pizza, pasta, and gelato
- Best for
- Ordering pizza
Dolce Salato is where Béatus and I always order pizza. We love it, and it is by far our favorite pizza in Wilton Manors.
The menu offers 12- and 16-inch pizzas, with both red and white pies. There is gelato, too. Dine-in, takeout, and delivery are available.

- Cuisine
- Café breakfast and lunch
- Best for
- A daytime meal in a garden setting
For breakfast or lunch away from Wilton Drive, The Alchemist has a garden setting on Northeast 13th Avenue.
The Chef’s Breakfast puts fried eggs on a tater-tot waffle, with avocado, pico de gallo, and bacon. For another kind of meal, the slicers include caprese and avocado options. Its house iced coffee contains condensed milk and brown sugar, which is worth knowing if you usually prefer your coffee unsweetened.

- Cuisine
- Bites and brunch
- Best for
- Cocktails with food or Sunday brunch
Apt. 9F combines cocktails with bites on Wilton Drive. It fits an evening where drinks are part of the plan and you want food alongside them.
There is wine on the menu, too. Sunday brunch runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- Cuisine
- Modern American
- Best for
- Shared plates, cocktails, and vegan menu choices
PROOF serves modern American food and shared plates, with a cocktail bar on Wilton Drive. Its menu ranges from Mini Mac sliders to Chimi Chimi steak, a skirt steak dish with purple potatoes and chimichurri.
The menu also includes curry mussels and several dishes explicitly labeled vegan. Weekend brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- Cuisine
- Peruvian
- Best for
- Peruvian food without leaving Wilton Drive
Sardi puts a Peruvian option directly on Wilton Drive. Its menu includes ceviche and lomo saltado, along with aji de gallina and arroz con mariscos.
Bravo is still my favorite Peruvian restaurant, but Sardi gives you an option if staying on the Drive is part of your dinner plan.

- Cuisine
- Breakfast and café food
- Best for
- Breakfast in nearby Oakland Park
Maggie’s Favorite serves breakfast in nearby Oakland Park, on East Oakland Park Boulevard.
The menu includes a breakfast croissant and burek, as well as blueberry pancakes and sweet or savory crepes. Daily hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., so plan it as a daytime stop.
Before You Go
If the plan is dinner followed by time on Wilton Drive, start with the restaurants whose addresses are on the Drive. Union, The Alchemist, and the Northeast Sixth Avenue options take you elsewhere; Maggie’s Favorite is in Oakland Park.
Check opening hours and the menu when planning your meal. Sozo does not accept reservations, and Le Patio’s schedule needs confirming before you go.
